was watching this show 'Life Transformers' on channel 8 hosted by Christopher Lee and Quan Yi Feng ytd. damn touching luhs. its the story of a very poor family.

the mother, after giving birth to a baby girl 2months later, she slipped while cooking in the kitchen. and since then she's like half paralysed. and the father, cos of his diabetes, had to have his right leg amputated. a very normal and blissful family, turned into like... wah no words in my vocab to describe.

becos of his amputated leg, the father cant find a job. he didnt even mind being a cleaner. but cos he couldn't bend down, they don wanna employ him. so the jobs that he can work for is really limited. he no choice. turned to selling newspapers by the roadside for a living. all he earns per month is only $300-$400.

when the daughter (cherry) was 5 years old. there was once she pushed her mummy on a wheelchair, cos dno wad reason. her mummy fell from the wheelchair and since then, she had a forbia moving around. she insists to sit/lie on the bed all the time. she eats, shits and does everything there. wondering how she baths? sry no. she only cleans herself up using a wet towel and stuffs.

for NINE years, the mother spent her days on the bed. yeah. everything she had to do, she did it on the bed. now, cherry is nine years old. NINE YEARS OLD, MIND YOU.

and she has to cook, do household chores and even clean up her mummy's waste for her. three words ; goddam filial daughter.

when chris and yifeng interviewed cherry, wa this is the part where the filming crew. me too.

i came to realise. thanks god. i really do have ALOT of things. compared to many many others, i am so fucking fortunate.

cherry's story is one example. i'm sure there are many many others out there. well, all the crew could help cherry and her family is just THAT much. and err, i wish them all the best for the future ~~
